Well, hello there!
This week has flown by; I can’t believe it’s time for yet another Fitness Friday post. This week I bring to you the first fashion post for Fitness Friday.
One huge trend in fashion lately is activewear. Everyone’s doing it! Literally!!! Every time I turn around, another designer or brand has an activewear line. This is good for us, because now it’s easy to find super cute, super cheap activewear for whatever sport you partake in. I personally enjoy shopping for myself at LuLuLemon, Forever21, and Gap.
I’ve mentioned in a recent post that I recently took up running, but did I ever mentioned how much I LOVE hot vinyasa yoga? A very good friend introduced me to Yoga to the People almost a year ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since! For only $5 you get the most intense 1 hr workout that targets every muscle group. The phrase “mind over body” takes on whole new meaning in these classes. I some how manage to allow myself laugh while holding the awkward chair pose three times in a row with sweat pouring off my face onto my mat (I know that makes for a some what gross visual, but it’s the truth). One day when I’m super brave, I’ll attempt the 1.5 hr traditional hot yoga class. Until then, here are some great items I would recommend for your next yoga class to keep cool while flowing through your chaturanga pose into downward facing dog.

1. A bright tank top 2. Contrasting sports bra 3. Groovy on crop pants 4. A much needed beach towel to prevent slipping 5. Gym bag to hold your yoga mat 6. Enough ponytail holders for a year 7. Most convenient water bottle to date
